BT Imaging is the world’s leading supplier of photoluminescence imaging inspection tool for research laboratories and manufacturers. The company is a spin-off from the University of New South Wales and founded in 2007 by Prof. Thorsten Trupke and Dr.Robert Bardos, who are the pioneers introducing PL technology into the photovoltaics (PV) area. PL technology is a non-contact inspection technology to reveal defects such as scratches, cracks, dark spots or contaminations on silicon or other materials.
